Emphasis is placed on concepts such as perfusion, oxygenation, regulation, and multi-system interaction, with application to priority and evolving health concerns. Students analyze clinical data, identify patterns of change, and prioritize nursing interventions within the context of risk reduction, management of complications, and coordination of care.
The course supports the development of intermediate prioritization, decision-making, and collaboration, preparing students to respond to changing patient conditions in a variety of healthcare settings.
