NURS 3152 Critical Thinking Seminar I
This seminar course introduces foundational strategies to support the development of critical thinking, clinical judgment, and effective learning practices in nursing education. Students explore the use of evidence-based academic and clinical resources to support knowledge acquisition and application in nursing practice.
Emphasis is placed on the development of skills related to test-taking strategies, basic clinical reasoning, and the application of foundational concepts to nursing-focused questions and scenarios. Students are introduced to available learning tools, to support academic success, and identify areas for improvement.
The course fosters self-directed learning, accountability, and reflective practice, preparing students to effectively utilize resources, build foundational clinical reasoning skills, and progress successfully within the nursing program
