Students examine factors influencing health outcomes, including non-medical drivers of health, epidemiology, environmental influences, and health disparities.
Emphasis is placed on the application of clinical reasoning to assess population needs, analyze data, and identify risk factors impacting the health of individuals, families, and communities. Students explore strategies to promote health, prevent disease, and improve outcomes through education, screening, and community-based interventions.
