SOWK 6389 Special Topics in Social Work

This course allows students to create an independent course of study in an area of their choice, with suggested topics that align with health or mental health in rural settings. Topics students may consider include imitate partner violence, substances use disorder, housing and homelessness, food instability, migrants, aging, end of life care, veterans, disabilities, issues related to LGBTQ and BIPOC populations.
