Dependents of Public Servants Killed in the Line of Duty
Automatic Admission for Dependents of Deceased Public Servants
In accordance with Section 51.803(e) of the Texas Education Code, applicants who are dependents of certain public servants who were killed or sustained a fatal injury in the line of duty are eligible for automatic admission to UT Permian Basin, provided they meet any minimum admission requirements established by the University. Students admitted under this provision must also satisfy all requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI).
In accordance with Section 51.803(e) of the Texas Education Code, applicants who are considered dependents of certain public servants who were killed or sustained a fatal injury in the line of duty are entitled to automatic admission to the University if the applicant meets any minimum requirements established by the University. Students admitted on this basis must complete the requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI).
