Registration and Student Records

Course Registration

Students who have been officially admitted to UT Permian Basin are eligible to register for courses. Registration periods are held prior to the beginning of each academic semester. During these periods, students may:

  • Register for classes
  • Make schedule adjustments (add/drop)
  • Review tuition and fee assessments

Registration dates, deadlines, and related academic calendar events are published in the official course schedule and are also available online at www.utpb.edu. Students are encouraged to register early and consult with their academic advisor to ensure timely progress toward degree completion.


Student Records

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for maintaining and safeguarding all official student academic records. This includes:

  • Enrollment verification
  • Transcript requests
  • Degree audits and graduation certification
  • Name and address changes
  • Academic standing and GPA records
  • Transfer credit evaluations

Students may access many of these services through the University’s secure student portal. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that their personal and academic records are accurate and up to date.
