University Requirements and Policies

University Requirements and Policies:

All curricular requirements, standards, and regulations outlined in the Undergraduate Catalog must be formally documented as having undergone the appropriate policy development, amendment, and approval processes, as specified in the UT Permian Basin Handbook of Operating Procedures and the Academic Affairs Handbook. New or revised courses, curricula, and academic policies related to undergraduate education become effective and are incorporated into the Catalog following review and approval by the relevant academic departments and colleges (as applicable), advisory committees, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and, when required, the President, the UT System Board of Regents, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The Undergraduate Catalog is maintained by the Academic Affairs - Curriculum Coordinator, which ensures its content accurately reflects the institution’s academic programs and services.
