Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment allows UTPB students to take courses at another accredited institution while remaining enrolled at UTPB. This option is typically used to fulfill degree requirements or accelerate progress toward graduation.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Students must be enrolled in at least 6 undergraduate credit hours at UTPB during the semester of concurrent enrollment.
• A degree plan must be on file with UTPB.
• Students may not receive financial aid from the host institution; all aid must be processed through UTPB.

Approval Process:

• Students must complete a Concurrent Enrollment Agreement Form, available through the Financial Aid Office or Registrar.
• Approval from an academic advisor is required to ensure that the external courses align with the student’s degree plan.
• Students are responsible for requesting official transcripts from the host institution to ensure credit transfer.
