SPAN 3308 Introduction to Hispanic Literature and Literary Analysis

This course provides a panoramic introduction to Spain and Latin American literatures. To increase student knowledge, we will analyze some representative texts in poetry, prose, drama, and essay. The course will also contextualize the literary and philosophical tendencies of each era. The specific purpose is to analyze a series of representative works, placing them within their literary context as well as the social and historical.
