EDUC 3352 The Exceptional Child
This course will present the pre-service teacher with a general overview of exceptionalities of children and youth to include characteristics, etiology, and educational programs and practices. Topics will also include historical and legislative events affecting special education and an overview of the special education process including referral, screening, assessment and educational planning.
