Additional Course Credits

No course counted toward another degree may be counted toward a master's degree, either directly or by substitution.

Students may apply a maximum of 6 credit hours of 4000-level courses toward master's degree requirements. In order to be eligible to count toward the degree, these courses must be approved by the master's degree committee and taken after acceptance to a degree program.

A maximum of 6 credit hours of 6000-level course work taken prior to acceptance in a master's degree program may be applied to the degree, subject to the approval of the student's graduate committee.
