Center for Energy and Economic Diversification

The Center for Energy and Economic Diversification (CEED) serves as a hub for UT Permian Basin’s research and outreach initiatives aimed at promoting economic development across the West Texas region. Located in a dedicated facility bearing its name, CEED has become a focal point for regional innovation and collaboration. The Center houses key programs such as the Economic Diversification Program and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), both of which support business growth, entrepreneurship, and economic resilience in the Permian Basin.
