CIVE 3360 Geotechnical Engineering

IThis course focuses on fundamentals of soil mechanics and covers identification and engineering classification of soils; engineering behavior and properties of soils; effective stress; stability of retaining structures, shear strength; bearing capacity, foundation type, consolidation and differential settlement, slope stability and soil stabilization.
