Honor Roll

Each semester, students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance are recognized for their achievements:

• Dean’s Honor Roll: Awarded to students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50 to 3.99.
• President’s Honor Roll: Awarded to students who achieve a perfect semester GPA of 4.00.

These honors are recorded on the student’s official academic transcript and may be publicly announced.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for either honor roll, students must:

1. Be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree.
2. Have completed a minimum of 12 semester credit hours at UT Permian Basin during the semester of consideration.

For part-time students, the GPA is calculated based on the most recent 12 cumulative semester credit hours completed at UTPB. If this includes coursework from a previous semester, all courses from that semester will be included in the GPA calculation.
