PSYC 6324 Professional Orientation & Advanced Ethics
Seminar concerning the field of psychology as it relates to current ethical, social, legal and medical issues. Emphasis is placed on the role of the psychologist, licensed psychological associate (LPA), and licensed professional counselor (LPC) in psycho-therapeutic relationships and in applied settings. Students will learn to utilize, adhere to, and reference the ACA and APA Code of Ethics. Additionally, the course will provide an introductory overview of the clinical and counseling psychology field.
