COUN 6379 Multicultural Counseling and Advocacy

This course provides a comprehensive investigation of multicultural issues, theory, research, and practice relevant to the field of counseling. Cultural identification and exploration of one's heritage and how it impacts the therapeutic process will be required. Students will examine the role of social responsibility within the counseling profession, and explore strategies relevant to social change.
