EDLD 6191 268/368 Certification Exam Preparation
The purpose for this course is to prepare candidates for success on the TEA/SBEC certification exams which must be passed to earn a recommendation for the Principal as Instructional Leader certification from the UT Permian Basin Educator Preparation Program Office. Completion of this course is part of the requirements for a candidate to be designated as a "completer" for certification purposes. Candidates will be able to earn an exemption from this course when they meet certain benchmarks that include but are not necessarily limited to practice exam performance, passing scores on the live exam, and/or offering alternative evidence of preparedness for success on this exam. Eligibility for exemption on the basis of other evidence will be left o the discretion of the program coordinator in consultation with program faculty. This course is a Principal as Instructional Leader certification preparation program requirement not on MA in Educational Leadership program requirement.
