NURS 4286 Men's Health Nursing
This course introduces students to the concept of men's health and the gender gap in achieving health for men. It provides also an overview of health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention and management, and decision-making related to health care for men. It further provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to deliver holistic, patient-centered culturally congruent nursing care for men across the health-illness continuum. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of Courses in Junior year.
